hi friends. -these are all of the essays and Facebook posts I’ve ever written about Sudan. ๐ฌ I’m from Sudan, i was born in Khartoum. My family and I left Sudan when I was two years old.
Though I’ve lived in the U.S. for most of my life (and even gained U.S citizenship when I was eighteen years old), I’ve always felt more Sudanese than American. Idk, I’ve always felt at home in Sudan (whenever I would go back and visit and stuff..), and I’ve always felt a strong sense of contentment with my nationality ๐ค everyone should feel the same about their country, of course – all lands are beautiful and have a lot to offer, to teach and to appreciate about them.
